Ordered the 10" Shower Arm in brushed nickel. Part arrived quickly (thanks Amazon). installation instructions were missing, and I had a question about a supplied locking nut. Question was answered quickly (part not needed). Now my 6'5" son doesn't have to stoop in the shower! Great customer service experience and part. Thanks!

Not adustable on Y axis.

Nice sturdy system, with a critical flaw, there is no adjustment for Y axis, so if your threading doesn't exactly match up you're going to have the arm tilted. Mine settles at 11 o'clock which puts my shower head about 4 inches from the wall. I'd give this a 5 star review if they used some sort of a nut at the base rather than a fixed threaded socket.

Thank you for your thoughtful review! I'm glad to hear you find the system sturdy, but I completely understand how the lack of adjustment for the Y-axis can be a significant drawback. A tilted shower head can definitely affect your overall experience.

Fixed attachment points (no free spinning attachment nuts)

The quality and manufacuring of the shower arm is quite solid, the heft and finish are very nice.

Installation is pending delivery of a three way flow diverter to be installed likely between the shower spout and the extension arm; primary concern is that noted by other comments: both of the female ends & attachment nuts are fixed and do not freely rotate. While this is fine for the shower head itself, it may prove an obstacle with getting the extension arm to be both tight and straight from the shower spout (since the attachment points are fixed, the whole assembly will need to be rotated around the male threads rather than just an attachment but tightened while holding the extension arm straight in place).

If the threads line up just right, this will be a phenomenal solution at a great price. If I can't finagle it to be straight, it just won't work and will be returned. The diverter is due in tomorrow, so will see how everything comes together then.
