The longer, thinner connection attaches to the handheld shower head and sits in the shower bracket mount. If installed backwards, the shower hose will not fit in the mount. This shower bracket works with ALL HANDHELD SHOWER HEADS, but you have to install the shower hose correctly.

Metal mount

This has a metal end where it mounts to the shower arm. The plastic ones kept cracking. This one should last.

Sturdy product from a friendly company

Great little product. Bought to hold a pet sprayer that came with a plastic holder that required drilling into tile. No thanks. This one is far better quality, I didnt need any tools and the Teflon tape is included. Be sure to tighten all the way, I dont think it lets you over-tighten. Received a friendly message from the company offering help if I ran into any issues. I did not but it was nice to know they were ready to help.

Value for your money

We used this product, and its associated parts, to convert an awkward guest room shower into a convenient European-style "telephone" shower. It works fine and seems designed to last. I would buy another one if I needed it.

Exactly what I needed, and didn't have to change out the whole shower set for one broken part.
